What is it?

The e-games league is a programme of actvities based around computer/console games that will provide evidence for part of the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness.

Each lesson the students will perform computer based activities for 75% of the lesson, these activities will form the basis of the evidence, the students will achieve points for the activities they complete. The final 25% of the lesson will involve students playing console games against each other, they will earn points for the gaming performance.

The students will form themselves into clans, these clans will make up the e-games league within the school. Each term the league will arrange inter-school matches. At the end of the year the clan with the highest points will win a prize and compete against top clans from other LAs.

Each clan will maintain a blog throughout the course.
